Year of the Cat

The hero illustration of three cats resting on mushrooms and playing with butterflies was originally designed and illustrated for a commissioned birth announcement.

The client requested the design celebrates the Year of the Cat and incorporated an emerald green and vibrant red tone. The announcement features the hero illustration, and a complimentary surface pattern was designed for the lining of the envelope.

Since designing the birth announcement, I have created three other supporting illustrations to complete the mini collection.
